Lodging
Check in/Check out
Check in will begin at 2 pm on 10/16. You must check in with the greeter at the Sonshine House on your way in. Yo will receive your room assignment and schedule. Check out will be 10:00 am on 10/25 unless you are staying to help clean. Lunch will be provided for those staying.
Inn Agape and Fairview Lodge
Rooms in Inn Agape and Fairview Lodge will be assigned first to VOB families who are staying the full 8 or 9 nights on a first-come/first-served basis. In the event that multiple registrations for the full 8 or 9 nights are received at the same time, they will be assigned in alphabetical order according to last name until the rooms are filled. We are unable fulfill exact room requests.
If a family is unable to stay for the full 9 nights, but wants to stay in either Inn Agape or Fairview Lodge, they may attempt to find another family that could stay in the same room on the dates that room would be unoccupied. For example, if a family is able to stay on 10/16-20, they may attempt to find another family that would take the same room for the nights 10/21-10/25 in order to fulfill the full 8 or 9 night stay parameter. The room would be completely cleaned with clean sheets, etc.
If we do not get enough full-term registrations, then we will attempt to assign rooms in such a way that would cause the rooms to be filled for as many nights as possible.
Individuals will be assigned to the bunk rooms in order to accommodate as many people per room as possible.
Sonshine House
There are 4 bunks per room. There will be no coed rooms unless shared by a family.
Occupancy
When both Inn Agape and Fairview are full, bunks in the Sonshine House will be offered.
Camping
Primitive Tent Camping only. There will be electrical hookup. There are no hookups in RV spaces. Please see the greeter before setting up your tent/equipment so that the location can be approved. No cookware or fires are allowed. Campers will be allowed to access the showers and bathrooms in the Sonshine House.
Meals
There will be 3 community meals per day with 10/16 (check-in) and 10/25 (check-out) being the exceptions. Outside food is strongly discouraged due to very limited refrigerator space. If you are on a strict diet, please note that and we will get back with you. We understand that people may have particular dietary needs. Please indicate them on the registration form so that we may attempt to accommodate them. Snacks are allowed, but must be stored with the individual that brings them in sealed containers.
Payment
There will be no charge for Lodging. The food charge is due in full upon submission of the registration form. The registration will not be processed without payment. Please make all checks out to Valley of Blessing or pay by Vanco through the VoB website and put the form in the Pushke by October 9th.
Attending
All rooms are free of charge this year which is a huge savings, especially for our families. Please make preparations to attend as soon as possible and don’t wait until the last minute. There are a lot of preparations being made; so be in prayer for the Sukkot event. A Schedule will be available later. Directions will be given out closer to the event.
