We believe there is one God, eternally existent and manifested as – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.. We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through faith in Messiah Yeshua

We believe that Messiah Yeshua (Christ Jesus) is the eternal and only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a Jewish virgin, Miriam (Mary). He was sinless in His life, and He made atonement for the sins of the world by the shedding of His blood unto death. We believe in His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension, His high priestly work in Heaven for us, and His visible pre-millennial return to the world according to His promise.
We believe that the Bible is God’s completed Word, that it is inerrant in the original manuscripts, having been written by divinely inspired men, that it is the supreme, infallible authority in all matters of faith and conduct, and that it is true in all that it affirms.
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God. We believe that because of the original fall, all men are by nature and choice sinful and alienated from God. Man has no possible means of reconciling himself to God and that, by persisting in the sinful state of unbelief man is justly condemned by God to eternal punishment.

We believe that man is reconciled to God, being justified by grace through faith in the atoning work of Messiah Yeshua. Being reconciled, man has peace with God and direct access to Him through Messiah Yeshua and has the hope of eternal glory in Heaven with God. Furthermore, there is no way, nor has there been any other way of salvation apart from faith in Messiah Yeshua for any person, Jewish or Gentile, from the beginning of time.
We believe that those who have trusted in Yeshua, though forgiven, still have to contend with the dynamic of sin in this life. Each believer has the ability to choose sin or righteousness. God has made full provision for believers to live in obedience to Him through the complete atonement of Messiah Yeshua and the indwelling of the Spirit of God

We believe that the local congregation is an organized body of believers in Messiah Yeshua who have been through Mikvah (baptism) upon confession of faith and who associate for worship, fellowship, teaching, and service. We believe the local congregation is governed by its members through the Zakanim (Elders) and is not ruled by any outside political authority. Its purpose is to glorify God through worship, instruction, accountability, discipline, fellowship and outreach

Believers are not under the condemnation of the Law of Moses. Both Jewish and non-Jewish believers have the freedom in the Messiah to enjoy all of the aspects of the Torah (e.g., festivals, Shabbats). These aspects of the Torah are not nor ever were a means of justification. Justification is by grace through faith in Yeshua alone. For non-Jewish believers, observances such as the festivals and Shabbat are a means of identifying with the Jewish community and expressing the Hebraic roots of Biblical faith
FAQ
The seventh-day Sabbath was set forth in the Torah (first five books of the Bible) as a day of worship and rest. We believe that God gave us the Sabbath as a sign of His covenant promises. (Genesis 2:1-2, Exodus 20:8-11; 31:12-17; 35:1-3) Each Shabbat we remember the rest that Yeshua (Jesus) gives us through His work on our behalf (Heb. 4:1-11)
Jews and Christians worship the same G-d and seek authority from the same book – the Bible. They also accept the moral principles of Torah. Jews and Christians must work together for justice and peace.
Absolutely! We celebrate our weekly festival of Shabbat. During the year we celebrate Purim, Pesach, Shavuot, Yom Teruah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, and Hanukkah as well as other important events and appointed times.
Oneg Shabbat means “delight of the Shabbat.” It is a time after the service when we eat and have fellowship with each other. It’s a great time to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
We have existed as a congregation since 2005. Messianic Judaism has been around since the time of our Messiah. The early congregation was made up of all Jewish believers in the Messiah and was known as “The Way.”
Everyone is welcome here at Vob. We have a community here that welcomes people from all backgrounds with the common purpose of worshiping the Messiah. No matter what your religious or culture history is you are welcome here!
